If you like ukulele and you live in or near the Stroud Valleys, then this is your place.
We’ll be updating the site to show our programme of events, regular meetings, and links to other sites.
We have a resources section – repertoire, chord diagrams and hints to help you improve your technique.
Most of all we want to encourage people young and old to Play Ukulele!
We meet on the 1st, 3rd & 5th* Thursday of the month at 8pm for two hours of music. (*If there is one in the month)
Cost is £2.00 including tea/coffee and biscuits.
Tuesday Ukulele Sessions
We meet every other Tuesday at the Village Hall, King’s Stanley from 7:30 until approximately 9pm.
That is the opposite week to the Stroud club night so therefore usually 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.
The idea is to practice a few songs, this can be songs with difficult chord changes or strumming pattern, or just simply trying to improve a given song.
Each session we hope someone will bring along a new song to try or an existing song that they like or need to practice.
The evening is very informal, it’s not a club or workshop or lessons, just getting together to share ideas and techniques.
